Bit

Kilobyte (KB)

• A kilobyte is a unit of measurement that represents 1,024 bytes
• It is often used to measure the size of small files, such as text documents
• Kilobytes are commonly used to express the size of:

  • Cache sizes

Megabyte (MB)

• A megabyte is a unit of measurement that represents 1,048,576 bytes (1,024 KB)
• It is often used to measure the size of larger files, such as images and documents
