Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT C)
- This tool assesses alcohol consumption and harm.
- It uses questions from the full AUDIT test.
- Scoring system:
- 0-4: Low risk
- 5-7: Increasing risk
- 8-10: Higher risk
- 11-12: Possible dependence
- Scoring: A total of 5 or more is a positive screen.
- If a score of 5 or more is obtained, continue with the remaining alcohol harm questions on the full AUDIT test (not presented here).
