- Audio visual communication is an effective mode of communication that intensifies the audience's knowledge by engaging their sight and hearing.
- Presenters that use audio visual communication create audiences who are better prepared to apply event knowledge in real-life environments.
Importing Audio in Adobe Premiere Pro
- To import audio in Adobe Premiere Pro, navigate to the Project panel, select the desired audio file, and add it to your sequence.
- The audio file will be selected, and you can open it in the Source panel to view the waveform.
- You can play the audio file, and then drag it to the sequence within the Timeline panel.
Adjusting Audio Track Volume
- To adjust the audio track volume, use the Audio Track Mixer panel, which can be accessed by choosing Window > Audio Track Mixer > [sequence name].
- You can adjust the volume of each audio track independently, and also adjust the overall audio level using the Master control.
- Aim to keep the audio levels in the –6 to –3 dB range for most audio projects.

- The ring out effect can be applied to music, dialogue, or sound effects to add drama or end a song sooner.
- To apply the ring out effect, add a reverb ring out to the desired audio clip, and then extend it as needed.

- Pitch shifting is the art of altering a voice within an audio clip to produce a higher or lower pitch.
- To apply pitch shifting, select and isolate the desired area of audio, search for "Pitch Shifter" in the Effects Panel, and then adjust the pitch further in the Effect Controls.
Whoosh Transition Sound Effect
- A whoosh transition sound effect can provide an excellent transition when aligned with a cut.
- To execute the perfect "whoosh" transition effect, download a "whoosh" sound effect file, import it into your project, and then drag and align it with the cut.
