Pay Supplements Overview
- Only specific pay supplements outlined in the Agreement are provided; no additional supplements are allowed.
- Pay supplements/tool allowances are excluded from average earnings for pensions and base pay calculations for sick leave or vacation payouts upon separation or retirement.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Pay Supplements
- Heavy Equipment Mechanics and Supervisors in GSA receive a 7.5% pay supplement when consistently assigned to on-call rotation.
- This supplement satisfies any on-call pay obligations under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Emergency Dispatcher Pay Supplements
- Emergency Dispatchers training new recruits are entitled to a 5% pay supplement during the training period designated by their supervisor.
- The City may audit the need for a separate training occupation, potentially discontinuing this role.
