Planning and Zoning Regulations

• The maximum height allowed for a building adjacent to a general road is 1.05 meters above the road level.
• A certified plan can only be executed after the property has been acquired.
• Any person can request a real estate appraisal for any property.
• The observed plan can only be executed after the property has been acquired.
• In sloping lands above the road, natural soil excavation is prohibited within the roadside setback area.

Building Permit Regulations

• A building permit is issued after submitting signed maps by the responsible engineer, registered with the Engineers' Association.
• The maximum height of a fence or barrier (including the parapet and guardrail) is three meters, if located on the border of an adjacent property or road boundary.
• Some constructions can be built without a license.
• Permits and licenses are issued by the Municipality.
