Study Notes
Fourth Ventricle
Lateral Border
- Superiorly bounded by the superior cerebellar peduncle
- Inferiorly bounded by the inferior cerebellar peduncle and Gracile and Cuneate tubercles
- Forms lateral recesses in the middle
Roof (Posterior Wall)
- Superiorly bounded by superior medullary velum connecting the two superior cerebellar peduncles
- Inferiorly bounded by inferior medullary velum connecting the two inferior cerebellar peduncles
- Located in the middle part of the cerebellum
Choroid Plexus of 4th Ventricle
- T-shaped plexus attached to the inferior medullary velum
- Horizontal part extends into lateral recesses of each ventricle through foramina of Luschka
- Supplied by the posterior inferior cerebellar arteries
