- An Auckland Airport Authorised Agent is a person authorised to assist in the management of the Airport.
- Designated Parking Areas are marked out by white or red and white paint markings.
Airside Driving Rules
- LVP stands for Low Visibility Procedures.
- RESA stands for Runway End Safety Area.
- The three overriding requirements for airside drivers are: driving in a safe manner, maintaining all speed limits, and being aware of other drivers.
Security and Safety
- Drivers are responsible for ensuring gates opened by lock and key are secure before proceeding.
- Drivers operating solely on the red and white road system, perimeter road, and apron must hold at least a Stage 1 airside driving permit.
Licencing and Training

- If a fuel hydrant spill is spotted, the emergency fuel cut-off button should be pressed and AOT should be advised on 98990/1.
Vehicle Safety
- As an Airside driving permit holder, it is a requirement to ensure every person is seated in a vehicle or piece of equipment that has a factory-fitted seat provided.
