    • The PBE must be donned within 15 seconds of pulling apart the oxygen cylinders.

    • The PBE will inflate, and a green indicator light will flash.
    • As the oxygen supply diminishes, the PBE will collapse, and a red indicator light will begin flashing alternately with the green indicator light.
    • Before removing the PBE, make sure to be clear and away from any source of fire.
    • Condensation will appear inside the PBE, which is normal.

    Lavatory Halon Extinguisher

    • Automatic and self-contained.
    • Will discharge at 175°F.
    • One (1) over each lavatory waste bin.
    • Pressure gauge needle in the green zone.
