- Confirm review of the student's completed Student Checklist (1A) and Research Plan/Project Summary.
- Discuss potential risks associated with the project with the student.

- Additional approval needed for projects involving:

- Potentially hazardous biological agents

- Complete the following items:
- Adult Sponsor Checklist (1)

- Regulated Research Institutional/Industrial Setting Form (1C) if applicable
