Condition:
- Dark colored urine observed.
- Reddish urine noted for 7 days before presentation.
- Low grade fever for 7 days, not associated with chills or rigors.
- Moderate urine output, 1-2 spikes per day.
- Two episodes of dark colored urine.
- Acute onset with involuntary lines appearing.
- Enlarged liver noted.
- Vomiting for 5 days, associated with food intake.
- Non-bilious and non-projectile vomiting, without blood.
Diagnosis:
- Ultrasound on 9/10/23 showed liver size of 13.1 cm.
- Gall bladder distended with edema.
- Spleen enlarged to 10.2 cm.
- Multi ascites seen.
- Final diagnosis: acute viral hepatitis (HAV IgM +ve).
Lab Tests:
- Hb (Hemoglobin): 11.9 g/dL
- Normal range: 13.5-18 g/dL
- Platelet count: 197000 /cmm
- Normal range: 150000-450000/cmm
- WBC (White Blood Cell count): 7400 /cmm
- Normal range: 4000-10,000/cmm
- S. Cr (Serum Creatinine): 0.676 mg/dL
- Normal range: 0.70-1.30 mg/dL
