  • Low grade fever for 7 days, not associated with chills or rigors.
  • Moderate urine output, 1-2 spikes per day.

  • Acute onset with involuntary lines appearing.

  • Vomiting for 5 days, associated with food intake.
  • Non-bilious and non-projectile vomiting, without blood.

Diagnosis:

  • Ultrasound on 9/10/23 showed liver size of 13.1 cm.
  • Gall bladder distended with edema.
  • Spleen enlarged to 10.2 cm.
  • Multi ascites seen.
  • Final diagnosis: acute viral hepatitis (HAV IgM +ve).
