Virtual TechPathways is the program name we have given to all learners enrolling through the AWS and Queensboro Community College Program. As we will not be using any external logo or referencing of partner names, we have given this program a custom name to differentiate from our standard B2C program, and ensure all partners can readily and easily promote the program. What is an Industry-Led Project Placement? An Industry-Led Project Placement presents a unique prospect for individual learners to be paired with experienced industry mentors. This collaboration enables participants to engage in the execution of real-world projects while gaining first-hand exposure within an actual corporate environment. This immersive opportunity facilitates the application of theoretical and technical knowledge acquired through classroom instruction and certification programs. By transitioning this learning into a practical, real-world context, participants can witness the direct impact and relevance of their skills. In tandem with project-based learning, participants will cultivate a robust professional network, fostering a comprehension of the nuanced challenges and industry standards. This exposure equips learners with a profound understanding of the dynamic nature of work and the diverse expectations present within the professional landscape. This program is designed for students who are enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program alongside completing various skills certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, OR AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate. Through the industry-led project placements, students will apply their knowledge and skills acquired during their degree and certifications to real-world projects within one of over 3,000+ VI approved host companies located strictly within the US. This online work placement allows interns to collaborate and contribute to key projects, while working remotely with innovative companies from around the world. By participating in this program, students will further enhance their expertise and gain valuable industry experience, setting a solid foundation for their professional journey. Program Career Fields Based on the technical certification programs, we have curated 3 career fields that they can complete an internship in that will allow them to flex your skills and technical proficiencies gained during the bootcamp within the real world.
