"‫اى حاجه بيعملها الحيوان هتبقى تحت مسمى "سلوك الحيوان‬ ‫ التغير فى نشاط الحيوان طبقا للحافز فى المكان سواء كان دخليا او‬:‫السلوك ايضا يمكن ان يعرف ان‬. ‫خارجيا‬ Animal manigment (livestock): refers to the activites carried out by farmer to raise the animals from day old to the marketing , it including (Housing – Good feeding – sanitation – Medicare ) Requirements must be present: 1- Water source 2- Housing in good location with the necessary equipment 3- Favorable climatic conditions 4- Knowledge of the species of animal to be produced 5- The technical information about the animal to rear 6- Knowledge of pests and diseases that affect the proposed animal “animal behavior is a mixture between inherited and acquired component” Aim of study animal behavior: 1- To find optimum environmental conditions, manage and move stocks are without causing undue stress 2- To achieve animal Welfare , reflected on performance and productivity of animals 3- to design facilities which consider the needs of animals,that include housing systems for intensive husbandry:(Holding pens – Loading and uploading ramps – transport vehicles) 4-To know what is in animal mind to understand body language 5- to Know the causes or factors which lead to induction of behavioral disorders and this vices can be avoided or treated Why should ethology be an important consideration for veterian? 1-Kow the normal behavior patterns that help them to differentiate between normal and abnormal 2- Diagnose some disease 3- Use the best methods to approach and handling of animal How study animal behavior? There are 3 methods: 1-Observational methods:including observing the organism of environment 2-Experimental methods: manipulate a variable or action for examination of how it affects the behaviour 3- Comparative metods : use phylogeny to show ancestral relationships Quote “Don’t wait for the perfect moment.
