The Housekeeping Section- is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness and maintenance of guestrooms and public areas. 3. The Room Sales- handles room reservations and sales. HOUSEKEEPING Housekeeping refers to the upkeep and maintenance of cleanliness and order in a house or a lodging establishment such as inn, hotel, resort, condominium or a hospital. A housekeeper is one who is responsible for administering housekeeping maintenance and for insuring that everything is in order. HOUSEKEEPING The Housekeeping Department of the Hotel Industry stands for one motto–‘Creating a home away from home’. The Housekeeping Department takes immense pride in maintaining the utmost standards of cleanliness and quality. The target of all accommodation establishment is to offer their clients with hygienic, pleasant, serene and welcoming surroundings that offer complete value for client’s money.
