PATRICK CUDJOE Date: October, 2023 Admission Number: 2023008387 Reference number: PS23/004064 Dear Mr. Cudjoe, OFFER OF ADMISSION FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR INTO THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES AND LEGAL STUDIES TO PURSUE THE BACHELOR OF COMMERCE ( MARKETING ) PROGRAMME 1. We refer to your application for admission into this University and write to inform you that you have been offered admission to pursue a 4-year BACHELOR OF COMMERCE ( MARKETING ) Programme at the University of Cape Coast starting from the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects you will study are MARKETING. A change of programme is NOT ALLOWED. 2. This offer of admission is for the 2023/2024 academic year only (cannot be deferred) and is conditional upon your having the necessary financial support to study at the University. It should be noted that the University does not award scholarships to fresh students. You are required to indicate acceptance of the offer by way of payment of the fees indicated in paragraph 7 of this letter. Your place will be offered to another candidate on the waiting list if you do not indicate your acceptance. 3. You are to note that if the University discovers later that you do not, in fact, possess the qualifications by virtue of which you have been offered admission to pursue this programme of study, you will be withdrawn immediately. You will also be held personally liable for any false statement or omission made on your application form. 4. The university has adopted the hybrid approach (online and face-to-face) for lectures and tutorials. You will therefore be required to have a device that allows you to connect to the internet. Assessment and examinations may be done in person and on campus. 5. You are also to note that your admission is subject to your being declared medically fit to pursue the programme of study in this University. You are therefore requested to undergo a medical examination at the University of Cape Coast Hospital before Matriculation. You will be withdrawn from the University if you fail to undergo the medical examination by the end of the first semester of 2023/2024 academic year. 6. You will be on probation for the full duration of your programme. Satisfactory academic work and good conduct are required for your continued stay on the programme. You will be required to adhere to ALL University rules and regulations including those contained in the Students Handbook and the Academic Policies, Rules and Regulations, copies of which will be made available to you during orientation. 7. You are required to make full payment of a PROVISIONAL (non refundable) fee of Two Thousand Six Hundred and Thirty-Eight Ghana Cedis (GH¢2,638.00)(excluding accomodation) before Wednesday, 6th December, 2023 if you accept this offer of admission. The difference between the PROVISIONAL fee and the ACTUAL fee (yet to be determined) will be communicated to you later. Payment should be made through: The UCC Admissions Account at any branch of Prudential Bank Limited OR Prudential Bank short code *772*40 and follow the instructions The UCC Admissions Account at any branch of Absa Bank Your admission number, (2023008387) should be quoted on the Bank pay-in-slip. 8. You may check in your student portal for information relating to accommodation upon payment of the fees indicated in paragraph 7 of this letter. 9. The University re-opens on Saturday, 6th January, 2024 (tentative). You are required to participate fully in an orientation programme for fresh students which begins on Monday, 8th Janaury, 2024 (tentative). 10. Your Student Identification Number will be sent to you after you pay the prescribed fees. This number shall also be your Examination/Registration Number which should be quoted anytime you complete any official University document and in all your correspondence with the University. 11. Kindly note that you are required to register your courses at the beginning of each semester for the entire duration of your programme. Please accept our congratulations.
