HEMODYNAMIC MEASUREMENTS Tamethia Perkins MS, RRT-NPS, RRT-ACCS RT 3005/6005 Hemodynamics is the study of forces that affect blood flow. In the critically ill patient a catheter placed in the PA (PA catheter) can provide very useful information. Direct measurements can provide information to calculate indirect measurements. Some measurements are “indexed’ by BSA. Size of the individuals.
