The most prominent IO is the United Nations, with 191 members. PURPOSE -International organizations have various important roles, such as: \- Collecting Information: For example, the World Meteorological Organization tracks weather and climate trends. \- Delivering Aid: The World Health Organization provides health services and support. \- Facilitating Negotiations: The European Union acts as a platform for countries to negotiate agreements. \- Resolving Disputes: The World Trade Organization helps settle trade conflicts.
