We’re always checking our phones following notifications. Often checking just in case there is something. This must be using up cognitive resources. Distraction But … smartphones are just an external tool to express distraction. Social Psychology on a Screen It’s nothing new… All the things that happen in the ‘cybersphere’ happen in the real world. Just apply our knowledge of the real world to the online world. Cyberbullying Bullying over a digital device. Smartphones, computer, tablet etc. More public, asynchronous, can be anonymous etc. But bullying happens anyway Cyberbullying right?
