**[Water Supply Operations]** [Tankers Water Supply South End] E-111 -- 2,000 gallons T-110 -- 2,500 gallons T-78 -- 6,000 gallons South end total -- 10,050 gallons **[Relay Pumping ]** - Reverse lay is the **[Primary]** method used, unless circumstances dictate otherwise. - All engines and Pumping Tankers carry a total of 1,100 ft of LDH w/ the last section (100 ft) being RED. - When laying supply line apparatus speed should be kept between 5 to 10 mph and consider space for incoming apparatus to have room to access scene if possible. - For every 1,100 ft of LDH laid an engine is needed to relay/tandem pump the lines. - Forward lays greater than 1,100 ft require an engine @ the hydrant to pump the LDH lines. - First engine @ the hydrant needs to maintain a minimum intake of 20 psi. - Each engine that pumps through their discharge needs to maintain a maximum pumping pressure between 80 psi t0 100 psi. (So, the "intake pressure relief valve" of the receiving engine doesn't get activated. **[Nurse Ops] (Preferred method if no hydrants available)** - First arriving engine will straight lay LDH supply line with the manifold at the end from a location that is accessible for the Tankers. - Arriving tankers will connect a minimum of two 50 ft sections of 3" supply line and a third if needed. (This allows to cut back on delays in receiving water while other tanker disconnects) - Receiving Engine will advise over Radio or w/ 3 horn blasts to have water sent. - "Water Supply" is only established once the tankers have sent water. **[\ ]**
