Discuss domain name for server types DOMAIN NAME FORMAT All computers connected to Internet have unique number called IP address or IP number Most owners of servers connected to Internet also have registered domain name for their servers A name server translates domain names into IP address, which makes for a user to access the website by typing in the domain name instead the whole website’s actual IP address. Each domain name must have at least two name server listed when the domain is registered..
