He started at Fordham University and then moved to the Wharton School of Finance, finishing in 1968 with a degree in economics.    Trump\'s father influenced him to work in property development. He wanted to build big buildings like skyscrapers and hotels in Manhattan. In 1976, he bought the old Commodore Hotel and turned it into the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Over the years, he built and fixed many tall buildings in Manhattan and other parts of the US, including the Trump Tower and Trump World Tower. In 1977, he married Ivana Zelnickova, and they had three children. She became Vice President of design in his company. Trump opened the Taj Mahal hotel-casino in Atlantic City in 1990. He divorced Ivana in 1992 and married Marla Maples, having a daughter named Tiffany in 1993.    In 2003, Trump hosted a TV show called The Apprentice, where people competed for a job in his company.
