Needs to join google classroom for at least 5 minutes prior to session During Training 1. All sessions are live session where you can interact with faculty. 2. All your queries will be answer after session. 15-20 Minutes is schedule for Q&A 3. All participants must turn off mic and camera during session. 4. PPT will be provided after end of every session 5. After every session MCQ & Feedback link will be provided in session chat box and whatsApp group for your self assessment which help for improvement. 6. Minimum of 60% attendance is mandatory, which translates to a minimum duration of 720 minutes out of the total 1200 minutes. After Training 1. After completion of training compile file of PPT & MCQs with answer will be shared in classroom. 2. Exam related guidelines will be provided at the end of last session 3. Training Completion certificate will be issue by RAGC to eligible candidates. Contact for queries: 8828826675 INTRODUCTION TO FACULTY About Real Estate Agent Real Estate Agents are essential element of Real Estate Sector, who connect Allottees and Promoters and facilitate most of the real estate transactions. Importance of Real Estate Agent Recognising their importance, Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 recognises them as one of the key stakeholders along with Allottees and Promoters. Accordingly, every real estate agent is required to be registered with MahaRERA for engaging in any activity relating to marketing, advertising, sale or purchase of any apartments. @ RAGC- for private circulation Course Objectives & Outcomes Comprehensive Understanding of RERA Law and its application from Real Estate Agent Perspective Understanding of MahaRERA and its functions Understanding of all aspects of real estate fundamentals which will provide an overview of the real estate industry to maximize the level of knowledge, which will in return increase competency Knowledge of the quantitative concepts associated with the real estate industry Ability to perform as a real estate professional once the registration has been successfully completed by conveying legal and ethical considerations that will maximize knowledge of key, components of the real estate industry. The certification will enhance knowledge and awareness of the regulatory and legal framework. As the real estate agents are the intermediary between developers and property buyers, it is essential to provide them with training to equip them with the knowledge of the regulatory framework. Sometimes channel partners and agents lack proper knowledge about the property they are trying to sell without providing adequate information, which frequently leads to disagreements and contention between the developer and the buyer. If these agents are registered with RERA and have the necessary qualifications to provide services, it will benefit not only homebuyers but also developers. @ RAGC- for private circulation It will also enforce code of conduct. With a legal certification in place, buyers will benefit the most and the number of complaints against agents for non professional conduct will drop significantly, furthering the growth of the real estate sector. The MahaRera has received 17,988 complaints till 12 June 2022 out of which 12,105 have been resolved and 5883 are still in process. Effective May 1, 2023, agents having the MahaRERA Real Estate agent ‘Certificate of Competency’ can only apply for agent renewal or registration with MahaRERA. Existing registered realty agents have to obtain and upload the MahaRERA Real Estate agent ‘Certificate of Competency’ before September 1, 2023 Also, in line with this order, effective September 1, 2023, developers have to ensure that the names and addresses of agents given by them should be only such agents who have MahaRERA Real Estate Agent ‘Certificate of Competency’.
