New Tier System By: Maria Luna and Gloria Vargas September 27, 2018 Tier System Will be Divided into 3 Categories Category A: Property Damage Category B: Initial tier based on intake Category C: Evaluation of case after 3 months Category A: Property Damage This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY Tier A1: Severe Damage that can be categorized as “Severe” can include severe frame damage, damage to suspension, severe quarter panel damage, spoiler, grill, etc. Vehicle is a total loss. Please see below case example, Norma Valencia. Tier A2: Moderate Damage that can be categorized as moderate can include vehicles with no frame damage, car is still driveable. Please see below case example, Janet Lopez. Tier A3: Minimal Damage that can be categorized as “minimal”. Slight damage to rear bumper, side swipes, paint damage that almost look like a “scratch” Please see below case example, Janger Erdenbat. Category B: Initial Tier This category will be based on the current system we have in place. Tier B. Initial Tier Based on Intake B1. Severe Injuries (Ex. Fractures, tear, brain bruising) B2. Moderate Injuries ( Ex. Pain Rated a 7-10, Urgent Care, Bruising on Body) B3. Minor Injuries ( Ex. Pain Rated 6 or lower, discomfort) Category C: Tier in 3 Months Once a case has been present for 3 months re-analyzation needs to take place. Questions such as the following need to be addressed: Q1: Is the client feeling better with conservative treatment? Q2: Do they need MRIS? Q3: Are they in need of more specified treatment based on MRIS? Ex. Epidurals, Neurological Treatment etc. Tier C: Tier in 3 months C1: Severe injuries (Ex. Surgery Rec or possible rec, Possible TBI) C2: Moderate injuries ( Ex. High Pain level, 5 or higher, epidural injection recommendation, rhizotomty recommendation) C3: Minor injuries (Ex. Trigger points, therapy, decreasing pain levels)
