How to install a build using TestFlight • Using an invite link • Using an invite code • If the game is already on TestFlight What is TestFlight TestFlight is an application used for testing on Apple devices. It allows developers to test their apps before submitting them to the App Sore. Our clients upload new builds onto the app, which we then download to test. It’s the equivalent to Android’s AppCentre, although the processes are quite different. How to access TestFlight TestFlight should already be installed on the iPhone device you receive. It can usually be found on the Home screen. If it’s not installed, contact your Senior or Lead. To access the app, simply tap on its icon to launch it. How to install a build using TestFlight Using an invite link The client will provide us with an invite link or an invite code that will need to be redeemed in the TestFlight app. These can be found in the Project Info or Daily Task. If it’s an invite link: - Type the provided invite link into the search bar in Safari browser. - On the page that appears, tap on the Open button at the top to open the next page in the TestFlight app. - When TestFlight opens, tap on Accept and then Install. - After the app is installed, you can launch it either by tapping Open, or by launching it from the Home screen. How to install a build using TestFlight Using an invite code If it’s an invite code: - Launch the TestFlight app. - Tap on the Redeem button at the top. - Enter the provided code and tap Redeem. - Tap on Accept and then Install. - After the app is installed, you can launch it either by tapping Open, or by launching it from the Home screen. How to install a build using TestFlight If the game is already on TestFlight It may be possible that the game you’re testing is already available and displayed on TestFlight.
