Stress is an inevitable part of life that everyone falls in, including students. Stress is often described as a feeling of pressure or tension in challenging or uncontrollable situations, much like carrying a heavy backpack. Managing stress can improve student' both physical and mental health, as well as school and personal lives. For students, the primary sources of stress include school pressure, such as the need to achieve high marks, prepare for exams, and the fear of failure in school. Balancing schoolwork with other life activities can also contribute to stress. Furthermore, the fear of and uncertainty about the future can distract students from their current tasks and responsibilities. Students are too preoccupied with the future. The consequences of stress are different, including confusion, anger, concentration difficulties, depression, insomnia, forgetfulness, and mood swings, all of which can impact school performance. To combat stress, students should be positive and calm in stressful situations. Effective time management is essential because it sets aside time for enjoyable hobbies. Engaging in physical activities like sports and having enough sleep are also beneficial techniques. Moreover, having a plan for each day and sticking to it can help to reduce stress. Briefly, while stress is a natural part of life, students must learn to manage it to enhance their mental and physical well-being and rebuild their confidence. The goal of stress management is not to eliminate stress completely but to learn how to handle it positively.
