Married with two children. He has a 7-year-old son and a 4-year-old son. He doesn't have much time, and having children at home, watching TV on the new smart TV is a great plan. He loves technology and enjoys the latest advances and innovations. Now, he only pays for Netflix, where he watches a series or movie on weekends, as well as news programs, series and competitions on DTT channels. He has just switched to MásMóvil, basically because of the price of fiber. He was a Telefónica customer and had TV (without soccer, because it was very expensive) and has not yet signed up for the TV offered by the operator. He is not sure. He has been told that an installer has to go to his house and that puts them off (they do not want one more device, and it seems a nuisance to them that they have to wait for someone to go...) Although the offer is very cheap. Learning to use AI responsibly and ethically is an important skill in today’s society. These are some applications of Generative AI that are allowed and encouraged to “augment” the learning journey: 1. Idea generation and refinement: Utilize AI to brainstorm and fine-tune ideas, formulate research questions, and even draft an outline to bring clarity to your thoughts. 2. Writing quality assessment: Leverage AI to assess the quality of your written work, including aspects such as grammar, rigor, style, and expression, thereby enhancing the overall coherence and effectiveness of your writing. 3. Simplified explanations: Generate simplified explanations of complex topics using AI, which can serve as valuable learning resources to support your comprehension of challenging concepts. 4. Personalized tutoring: Identify your learning needs, your weak points, and leverage AI to provide tools and exercises to acquire the knowledge you need to ace your next assignment. 5. Critical review of texts and images generated by AI tools: Stimulate critical thinking by AI generated content, supporting students in assessing the quality of the materials, identifying potential biases, verifying veracity of the information. 6. Creation and edition of audiovisual content: Produce storyboards, rough draft scripts for a video, or generate realistic and believable dialogues to take your project further, from exec summary to fully blown prototype and to ensure consistency with the tone and style of the project. 7. Development of characters: Generate buyer personas with descriptions of their appearance, personality, and backstory. Module #2-3-4 Academic Integrity When utilizing AI tools, it is essential to uphold academic integrity and acknowledge their usage appropriately. Plagiarism and cheating can occur if work or assessments are submitted as one’s own without acknowledging the use of AI. To maintain academic honesty, it is important to disclose and provide necessary information about AI usage in your assignments. Acknowledge AI as a tool: Recognize that AI is a tool, even if used solely for idea generation rather than producing usable text or illustrations. Submitting work created by someone or something else as if it were your own is considered plagiarism and cheating. Failure to acknowledge AI usage violates academic honesty policies. Full disclosure for generation of text, code, images, video, design: When utilizing AI-powered platforms or tools, ensure full disclosure by: o Identifying the specific AI-powered platform or tool used, such as ChatGPT, Bard, Midjourney, DALL-E, or Stable Diffusion, etc. o Providing the input parameters, prompts, or preferences used in the platform, including relevant sections of the entire exchange. o Explaining how AI tools were used (e.g., generating ideas, turns of phrase, text elements, arguments, evidence, conceptual maps, illustrations, etc.) o Describing why AI tools were used (e.g., saving time, overcoming writer’s block, stimulating thinking, managing stress, improving clarity, translating text, experimenting for fun, etc.). o Providing a flowchart with a chain of commands and prompts to evaluate your technical skill in creating assets with AI, if you have used AI extensively to create code, images, videos, or project components. o Clearly stating that the image(s) or video(s) were generated using AI with the referenced platform. o Spell-checking or refining the style and quality of text is acceptable as long as the input was generated by you. Audience Measurement Today Have you ever wondered why your favourite TV show was cancelled? Have you ever wondered why a specific movie does not have a sequel? Concept: performance metrics.
