# EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. S-22-13 ## ISSUANCE OF UNDERCOVER LICENSE PLATES ### PURPOSE: To outline procedures for the issuance of undercover license plates. ### POLICY AND PROCEDURES: It shall be the policy of the City of Omaha that only the following vehicles may be issued undercover licence plates: 1. Undercover vehicles assigned to the Omaha Police Department. 2. Arson investigation vehicles assigned to the Omaha Fire Department. All other vehicles belonging to the City of Omaha should be licensed as government vehicles. ### OVERSIGHT: The Police Department has responsibility for oversight of this Executive Order. BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME AS MAYOR BY SECTION 3.04 OF THE HOME RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF OMAHA, 1956, AS AMENDED, I HEREBY PROCLAIM THIS TO BE THE EXECUTIVE ORDER ESTABLISHING AND GOVERNING ISSUANCE OF UNDERCOVER LICENSE PLATES.
