RADIO procedures -- Assignments, requests for transcripts, and portable radios **CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: THIS POLICY IS CONFIDENTIAL IN ITS ENTIRETY.** **POLICY:** It is the policy of the Omaha Police Department (OPD) that all OPD sworn and non-sworn personnel who use radio communications will adhere to proper radio procedures and guidelines. Because the Douglas County Communications Department (DCCD) provides call taking and radio dispatch functions for the OPD, requests by OPD employees for 911 transcripts, recordings, etc. must be submitted to the DCCD. **DEFINITIONS:** [Assembly Area:] A geographical location within the City limits with a room designated for police officers and non-sworn employees to report on and off duty and receive their scheduled assignments.
