Quarter 3: Lesson 5 Text Structures of Journalistic Texts ENGLISH 7 News News refers to information about current events and happenings that aims to INFORM and EDUCATE the public by presenting facts, analysis and perspectives on significant events and issues. A news article on the other hand, is a written piece of journalism that provides information and analysis about a particular news event or topic.
