# Hadith-e-NabawiSAW ## My Delight Lies in Prayer Hadhrat Anas RA reported that the Holy Prophet SAW said: "My delight lies in prayer." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Ashra tun-Nisa, Hadith 3391) The Holy Prophet SAW clarified that establishing prayers is a path to achieving God's love. Allah Ta'ala says in the Holy Quran: "And I created not the jinn and mankind except that they might serve Me." Therefore, the true beauty of a believer lies in praying with devotion and sincerity to achieve God's love. The Holy Prophet SAW highlighted the importance of prayer: "The five prayers are like a flowing river in front of you. You can purify yourself from your sins in it five times a day." (Sahih Muslim, Kitāb us-Salah, Chapter al-Masih 'ila as-Salah) The prayers are a means of liberation from sins and an ascent in rank. The Holy Prophet SAW considered prayer not only as a source of pleasure but also as a path to liberation from sin and advancement in ranks. Hadhrat Abu Huraira RA reported that the Holy Prophet SAW said: "Should I not tell you about a deed that erases sins and raises ranks? They said: Yes, O Prophet of God! He said: Even when one is reluctant to do the ablution properly, and walk to the mosque, and is eager to attend the following prayer, it is called _Rabāt_." (With _Rabāt_ in [Quran, Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:201] is the deep connection of believers among each other, with the Imam and with Allah Ta'ala.) (Sahih Muslim, Kitāb ut-Tahārah, Chapter Fadl us-Asbagh al-Wudhu' 'alā al-Makārah, Hadith 361, Vol. 2, Page 26, Publishers Jamaat Ahmadiyya) **(Note:** Some parts of the text were truncated in the image; I've tried my best to provide a complete understanding based on the visible content.)**
