THREE STAGES OF COURTSHIP PERIOD 1. Dating- the purpose is to get acquainted & enjoy activities 2. Serious Courtship- narrowed to one or two persons, for the purpose of selection of marriage 3. Engagement- selection has been made & two people agree to marry each other. Activity : Debate Be with your groupmates and prepare for a debate by reflecting on and answering these questions: At what stage in one's life should one be allowed to go on dates?
