How to be a Good Communicator at the Workplace By Elena Sheridan, Yunhan Shi, Nawras Sheltat and Yanwei Shen Communication Definition: Communication is the transmission of information, which may be by verbal, oral or written, or by nonverbal means, facial expressions or gestures or body language and many more. Why? To relate and exchange ideas, for knowledge, feelings and experiences and for many other interpersonal and social purposes. It is used to improved team collaboration, to enhance problem solving efficiency, avoid misunderstandings, stimulate innovation and creativity.
