The Philippines and Different Races Our ancestors had their own culture even before the arrival of the Spaniards. It can be seen in the writings of the ancient Spaniards who came to the island of the Philippines. Only a few of them are the nickname of Magellan\'s chronicler, Pigafetta. It can be seen in Pigafetta\'s description that the native Filipinos already have their own culture, beliefs and leadership system. In addition, the native Filipinos have been in contact with different races for a long time before the arrival of the Europeans. The Spaniards were not the only Europeans who interacted with the ancient Filipinos. Filipinos also encountered different races from Europe. As early as Magellan\'s expedition, they encountered sailors who came from nations such as Portugal, North Africa, Greece, France, Germany, and Italy. Besides these, some of the sultanates of Mindanao also had relations with the Dutch, the British, and the Germans.
