The mobilization of the youth ensures the continuous flow of successors in the revolutionary movement.” WHY THE CPP-NPA-NDF TARGET THE YOUTH AND STUDENTS?  The youth and students are easily exploited being idealistic, curious, and adventurous at this stage of their lives.  Prospective student-recruits are invited in symposia, fora and lectures, as well as, educational discussions and simple teach-ins. Prospective youth and student-recruits are invited to join anti-government demonstrations.  Once involved, they will be forced to participate in terrorist attacks like extortions, murders and harassments. Those who choose to stay eventually become full- time NPA members; some get killed, wounded or arrested in armed encounters. The CPP/NPA/NDF have been peddling lies as a weapon to deceive our people. Our best weapon against the CPP/NPA/NDF’s deception is THE TRUTH!  THE TRUTH This terrorist group is killing the children!  What can the parents, professionals, educators and future leaders do? There are countless ways to protect the children and our nation. …..WAYS TO PROTECT OUR YOUTH….. BELIEVE AND BE CLOSER TO GOD. HAVE THAT PATRIOTISM AND LOVE OF COUNTRY. BE INFORMED ABOUT THE EVILS OF CPP/NPA/NDF. BEWARE OF THE “IMMERSIONS” AND “LEADERSHIP TRAININGS”. DO NOT BE DECEIVED INTO JOINING THE COMMUNIST TERRORIST GROUP!  1. BRING THEM CLOSER TO GOD When children are closer to God, they will learn the right direction and have faith in Him; learn to distinguish the truth from the lies; and believe in the importance of family. 2. TEACH OUR CHILDREN WITH PATRIOTISM AND LOVE OF COUNTRY  Let us take pride in being Filipinos, and support our government because despite all its imperfections, our government was established by the people, for the people. We are all working hard to ensure a better future for our children and guarantee them with freedom, and safety. LET US TALK TO OUR CHILDREN AND INFORM THEM ABOUT THE CPP/NPA/NDF Parents and teachers have to take the responsibility to warn the children to protect themselves from the CPP/NPA/NDF terrorist groups.  4. BEWARE OF THE “IMMERSIONS” AND “LEADERSHIP TRAININGS”  Take interest in their activities and watch out for possible indicators that our children have joined or are being brainwashed by these groups. Possible indicators - They are being politically argumentative and critical of the government; - They see nothing good in the government and question authorities such as the police and the military; - They question the authority of their parents over them; and, - They deny the existence of God and the Supreme Being. Several mothers shared the pain they are going through because their children have been recruited by CPP/NPA/NDF front groups.
