The cost per unit is R3,50 and the pump operates for 10 hours per day 30 days per month. Calculate the following: 5.1.1 Total power consumption of the electrical motor in kW (3) 5.1.2 Total operational cost of the pump per month (3) 5.2 Give FOUR reasons for the amount of resistance against the flow of current in a conductor. (4) QUESTION 6 6.1 On a setting-out drawing the scale is 1:100. 6.1.1 How many metres on the ground will 200 mm on the drawing represent? (2) 6.1.2 How many millimetres (mm) on the drawing will 15 meters represent on the ground? (2) 6.2 Choose the correct word or words from those given in brackets.
