Computer Graphics Computer Graphics refers to the manipulation and the representation of the image or the data in a graphical manner. It also has to do with digital synthesis and its manipulation. Graphic design is the art of drawing pictures, lines, charts, etc. using the computer with the help of programming. Computer graphics are made up of a number of pixels. Pixel is the smallest addressable graphical unit represented on the computer screen. The images include digital images, animations, and interactive graphics used in various sectors such as entertainment, education, scientific visualization, and virtual reality. Computer Graphics can be used in rendering, geometric objects, animation, and many more. In most areas, computer graphics is an abbreviation of CG. It is also effective in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Types of Computer Graphics 1. Raster Graphics: In raster, graphics pixels are used for an image to be drawn. It is also known as a bitmap image in which a sequence of images is into smaller pixels. Basically, a bitmap indicates a large number of pixels together 2. Vector Graphics: In vector graphics, mathematical formulae are used to draw different types of shapes, lines, objects, and so on. 3. 3D graphics design: 3D graphics are also called three-dimensional translations. The three dimensions are extensions of two dimensions. In 2D graphics two coordinates are used, i.e. x and y. but the three-dimensional three coordinates x, y, and z are used. The orientation 3D graphics are used for a variety of mediums like video games, movies, architecture, engineering, and commercial advertising. 4. Animation: Animation is the process of creating an illusion of motion and shape change by means of rapid display of various type of pictures that were made to create a single scene. Benefits of 3D graphics Here are some important benefits in graphics. 1. Enhance your presentation: The easiest and stupidest method to use 3D is to purchase some 3D templates into which to insert your mockups. This will demonstrate your increased attention to the project's visual attractiveness and the reusability of your components. 2. Add realism: Real life is 3D; nothing is 2D. We experience four (time) and see three dimensions. The three-dimensional fabric of elements, which determines things like texture and reflections, will enhance or harm your design. Paper and even computer screens have depth, which will change how we actually receive visual cues. 3. Add depth to your language: A language is a set of words you use to communicate an idea to someone else. Everything that makes communication possible is a language. The terms that make up space include things like directions and positions. 4. Improve accessibility: The user may fully feel an object and understand what they are about to buy or visit by using 3D technology. Consider how virtual and 3D car configurations can improve the usability of interfaces. 5. Show off and trick people: Many people believe that designing in 3D is far more difficult than designing in 2D. Introduce some 3D into your designs if you want to stand out from the crowd and appear to be a computer wizard. And guess what? If you're seen as a skilled guy, your artworks will be valued more, even if they're terrible. 6. Look at everything from a new perspective: anything you choose. You are worn out. Trying to make that interface appear beautiful is driving you nuts. To unwind, make a change or start something new. By playing with 3D, you can discover a new aesthetic you like, which will alter how you approach traditional art or design. Applications of Computer Graphics These include: - Computer Graphics are used for the aided design of systems engineering and architectural systems: These are used in electrical automobiles and electro-mechanical, and electronic devices such as gears and bolts. - Computer Art – MS Paint. - Presentation Graphics – It is used to summarize financial, statistical, scientific or economic data. For example- Bar charts systems and line charts. - Entertainment- It is used in motion pictures, music, videos and television gaming. - Education and training- It is used to understand the operations of complex systems. It is also used for specialized systems such as framing for captains, pilots, and so on. - Visualization- To study trends and patterns such as Analyzing satellite photos of earth. COMPUTOGRAPHICS USES In the hospital space, AI is being used to prevent medical errors and reduce hospital readmissions. By analyzing patient data from medical and medication errors, readmission root causes, and other internal and external databases, AI will one day identify and prevent high-risk patients from developing complications, and provide prospective care guidance, and diagnostic support, among many other clinical applications. Additionally, AI will be useful in workflow optimization and efficiency, helping eliminate redundancy in cost from duplicate or unnecessary procedures. In pharmacy today, we already have an early form of AI in place. It’s called our pharmacy management system, housing patient utilization, and drug data, as well as potentially identifying drug-related problems through clinical decision support screening. The next generation in pharmacy technology is the introduction of a technology-based information expert system to identify timely drug-related problems based on patient data captured from the pharmacy system and other external data systems. Consistent with workflow robotics, this would leave less of the work on the pharmacist to shoulder the responsibility of identifying serious drug-related problems. Implications for pharmacists and their practice AI can strongly influence and shift pharmacists’ focus from the dispensing of medications toward providing a broader range of patient-care services. The pharmacist can leverage AI to help people get the most from their medicines and keep them healthier. Most importantly, AI provides pharmacy an opportunity for more collaboration across many different entities serving the same patient. For the patient, in addition to potentially better healthcare services offered by their professionals, AI may be a useful tool for providing guidance on how and where to obtain the most cost-effective healthcare and how best to communicate with healthcare professionals; optimizing the value of data from wearable; providing everyday lifestyle guidance; integrating diet and exercise; and supporting treatment compliance and adherence. Conclusion We can say that the creation of digital products and services that are simple to use and engage with is the responsibility of the graphical designer ; the critical component in any product or service's success. A product's marketability can be determined by the quality of its user interface. Web visuals must be added in order to create a website that is user-friendly. Although there are many different web graphics kinds available, we should always apply elements in accordance with user needs.
