Interdigitation of teeth 1-pattern of bone resorption  Maxilla resorbs upward and inward to become progressively smaller because of the direction and inclination of the roots of the teeth and the alveolar process.  The opposite is true of the mandible, which inclines outward and becomes progressively wider. This progressive change of the edentulous mandible and maxilla makes many patients appear prognathic. 1-pattern of bone resorption Setting up of upper anterior teeth should be labial to crest of ridge to restore original position of the natural anterior teeth. 2-Esthetics 2-Esthetics 2-Esthetics 3-occlusal plane 3-occlusal plane 4- harmony of the teeth with the contour 5-interdigitation of teeth Setting of teeth  Setting up of anterior in class II Vertical overlap should be kept small as esthetic and phonetics allow.
