Supporting you to take individual, or personalized , approaches to study. 2. Preparing you for what to expect from higher education. 3. Offering guidance on how to develop effective study habits. 4. Providing strategies and techniques for addressing core academic tasks. 5. Developing core methodologies and thinking skills needed in higher education. 6. Personalize your learning Learning can be adventure-1 Seek out ways of making your learning more Use many senses -2 Use several senses and give the brain more connections to find out information later. So you have to study by - Writing - Drawing - Typing - Move the body Identify what attracts you -3 It is easier to learn by keeping desirable outcomes in mind than by forcing ourselves to study out of task/duty. 4- Use active learning Within making decisions, linking information. 5- Take responsibility for your leaning You have to be able to study in an independent way Trust in your own intelligence-6 Worrying make it hard to learn, while worrying of failure make us succeed. 7- Personalize your learning Some theorists divided people into types such as : - Visual - Auditory - Kinesthetic - Introverted - Extroverted What you need is to discover you are belong to which type Auditory Learners Visual Learners Listen carefully to lectures Learn to visualize what you are learning Take good lecture notes and review them often. Focus attention on notes, films, videos or other visual media. Talk to others about what you have learn. Make your own pictures in your mind as an aid to memory. Kinesthetic Learners Use active learning such as lab classes, field trips or becoming physically involved in learning. Study outside when practical.
