# Archery Range Layout This diagram shows the layout of an archery range. **Note:** A NASP® arrow is 30 inches (76 cm) in length. **Wall:** A wall is at the top of the diagram. **Arrow Curtain:** A line of markings dividing the arrow shooting areas. **Target Line:** A green line that separates the target location from other areas. **Shooting Line:** A line to show the locations of where to shoot. * **One Arrow:** Positions for a single arrow shot. * **More than one arrow length:** Indicates if an archer shots more than one arrow length. * **Less than one arrow length:** Indicates if an archer shots less than one arrow length. * **2 yds or meters:** Indicates a range from the target line of 2 yards or meters. * **5-7 yds or meters:** Indicates a range from the target line of 5-7 yards or meters. * **4 yds or meters:** Indicates a range from the target line of 4 yards or meters. **Bow Rack:** Space for storing bows. **Waiting Line:** Area for archers to wait their turn. **Two Arrows:** Markings positioned before the arrow curtain, showing a spot for archers to shoot two arrows at a time. **Window:** Window located at the bottom of the diagram. **Door locked and signed:** The location for a door that is locked and signed. **Figure:** 1.5
