Specific Objectives 1.To describe the socio-economic characteristics of the residents; 2.To establish the awareness of the residents on Green Economy; 3.To identify the sanitation and hygiene practices of the residents; 4.To determine the initiatives of the barangay LGUs in improving the sanitation and hygiene practices of the residents; 5.To ascertain the challenges encountered by the barangay LGUs and residents in practicing green economy on water sanitation and hygiene; and 6.To develop a plan of action to increase the awareness on Green Economy and enhance the sanitation and hygiene practices of the residents in the coastal areas. Assumption The researchers assumed that the residents in the coastal areas of Hagonoy, Bulacan are aware of green economy and it contributes in enhancing their water sanitation and hygiene practices. Methodolog y This section describes in detail how the study was conducted. A complete description of the methods used enables the reader to evaluate the appropriateness of methods and the validity of results.
