Thanks to all of you for attending my talk. My presentation is called, *God\'s Mistakes: How I Would Make Our Bodies Better.* If we\'re being honest and look inward, we can acknowledge that our bodies are weak, fragile, and a little disgusting. However, if we put our heads together, we can strive for something even greater. Here are some of my suggestions. By a show of hands, who here knows the most dreams they\'ve ever had in a single night? Or the total number of gallons they\'ve ever peed? With my proposed stat tracker, you would have all these analytics at your fingertips in a convenient, easy-to-read display across your back. Imagine the possibilities: you could compare stats with friends. For instance, you might find you share the exact same number of white blood cells with someone, forming an instant bond. Most exciting of all, this could lead to new world records, such as the highest daily fart average or the person who has swallowed the most times. Ordinary life would become extraordinary. Moving on, have you ever seen something you didn't want to look at? Evolution allows us to close our eyes to avoid such sights. Why not extend this ability to other senses? Imagine being able to turn off your sense of smell when there\'s an awful odor or disabling your sense of taste when eating a dish you dislike. Similarly, you could mute unpleasant sounds. These enhancements could greatly improve everyday life. Now, let's address a fascinating concept: the inefficiency of our reproductive systems. Instead of trillions of tiny sperm, I propose focusing on creating one perfect sperm---a \"spworm.\" It would be flawless, the size of a small worm, and much easier to manage. While I admit this idea is extreme and somewhat absurd, it demonstrates how we might rethink biology. Speaking of radical ideas, what if our chest had a transparent panel displaying all our organs? This could revolutionize medical diagnostics by eliminating the need for X-rays and creating opportunities for organ comparisons. Who has the coolest kidney texture or the richest blood tint? This could also lead to new, niche aesthetics and preferences. Another area for improvement is incorporating plasma into our bodily functions. Plasma is a state of matter found in stars and lightning but is absent from human biology. I propose finding a way to consume and expel plasma, reducing our fear of missing out on this cosmic phenomenon. While I don't have specifics, I'm open to brainstorming ideas. Lastly, let's reconsider human gestation. Giraffes are born ready to walk and thrive, while humans are helpless at birth. Extending pregnancy to 19--27 months could lead to more developed, independent newborns. This extended gestation would be made comfortable and pleasant for the mother, addressing potential concerns. With that, I want to thank you for considering these ideas. Together, we can imagine and create bodies better equipped for the challenges and joys of life.
