Hermit Crab Care Sheet Daily Tasks: Managed daily by classroom teacher Refill/Change Water Refill bowl with seashell with salt water and other bowl with tap water. Please refill/change water using pre-filled jugs in Room 203. Dry Food  Use dry food mixture in Tupperware under large tank in Room 203. Spot clean tank Make sure lid is closed securely. Hermit Crabs love to climb and can escape! General Check  Look for physical or behavioral changes. If any are noticed, please notify Mr. Matt/Ms. Lucy Animal Care Club Tasks: Meets weekly on Mondays and Thursdays (managed by Mr. Matt/Ms. Lucy)  Fill water bowls Fill seashell bowl with salt water and other bowl with tap water. Clean Tank  Empty water and food bowl and rinse and clean in sink then dry. Check Food Top off food as necessary/other   Secure Lid Hermit Crabs can climb and will try to escape. ***Please report when supplies are low to Ms. Lucy!
