Greek god Poseidon was terribly angry with king Minos, so he enchanted his wife Pasiphae. She fell in love with a bull and gave birth to Minotaur: Half bull, half man. King Minos did not want anyone to know about this, so he ordered Daedalus to create a complicated maze where Minotaur would be kept forever. But Theseus, a very clever man, managed to get in the maze. He killed Minotaur and took king\'s daughter Ariadne with him. King Monos was furious and forbade Daedalus and his Icarus to leave the islad of Crete. Daedalus did not want to stay there, so he built two pairs of wings using feathers and wax; one for him and one for his son. He warned his son not to fly too close to the sun or the sea. The sea would dampen his wings and the sun would melt the wax. They flew from the highest tower. Icarus was young and foolish and did not listen to his father\'s advice. He flew too close to the sun, which melted the wax. He fell in the sea and drowned. Daedalus flew on the right route and came to Sicily and saved himself. He was sad and angry because his invetion killed his son.
