When we face difficult times in our lives and we need guidance He allows us to communicate (talk) to Him through prayer. Our Heavenly Father provides protection. God protects us from spiritual harm. A loving father disciplines his children because he cares about the kind of people they will become. Similarly, our Heavenly Father may at times find it necessary to discipline us. God’s discipline is always given in love and is never abusive. A loving father seeks to care for the physical and material needs of his family. Our Heavenly Father is no different. He provides us with things such as fresh air, sunshine and rain. These are essential to life. Our Heavenly Father loves us. He is the best Father imaginable and a role model for our earthly fathers.
