Final Exam Review-World Geography. Day One Your Final Exam will be developed by the District. I can NOT see the exam. I only have access to a “Blue Print” which has the TEKS (Learning Objectives) that will be covered on the exam. TEK Describe the impact of new information technologies such as the Internet, Global Positioning System (GPS), or Geographic Information Systems (GIS). What is GPS? How does it work? (basic) What industries benefit from GPS and in what ways? What is GIS? What are some industries that use GIS? How might you/your parents use GIS? Explain. TEK Compare ways that humans depend on, adapt to, and modify the physical environment including the influences of culture and technology. What is Human Environment Interaction? (Five Themes) Give at least 3 examples of how humans modify the environment to meet their needs. Provide specific regional examples. Think about the Ancient civilizations we’ve studied, use your notes! Give at least 2 examples of how humans adapt to their environment. Provide specific regional examples.
