ETOS® Basic WebTraining Session Welcome to this virtual training session for ETOS®. This is our idea of next level training in a brand new style. You – the participant – will have the chance to prepare yourself for the actual training session with this page (MS Sway). Please take your time and experience all training chapters. There are theoretical parts & also practical exercises. We added break recommendations - but you are free to choose for yourself. Total training will take up to 6hrs - so please plan accordingly. Therefore you can choose your own speed and repeat chapters if you need to (break recommandations are included). You can also split the session up into several parts if this helps you. After each chapter please finalize a short quiz to prove your knowledge. After finalizing all chapters and solving all the quizzes you are entiteled to sign up for the MSENSE® WebTrainings. Only after completing these you can sign up for ETOS® Advanced WebTraining. This is then the last WebTraining before you can travel to Regensburg for a full week of hands on training on ETOS® - our ETOS® Experts training. https://sway.cloud.microsoft/7ATe8wzRGjlRFiNC#content=NZI3x1bmzygrrd Now I want to shortly introduce myself. My name is Peter Schelter, I am your trainer for this session. I have been with Reinhausen since more than 16 years now - I have been working intensely with our products throughout all these years and ETOS® and MSENSE® have become my main products. Now I am fully focussing on training for MSENSE® & ETOS® for our Reinhausen employees and our customers as well. Great to have you here today, I am looking forward to meet you in one of our next sessions! Room for comments Please use this padlet white board for your thoughts, questions, comments ideas and what else you want to note The posts are anonymous and you can also vote or comment other posts. Embed:// Before we start with the first chapter we have a small video for you to get you in the right mood. Have fun watching it! 1 - ETOS® - Systematic automation of transformers What we want to cover in this virtual session: What is ETOS® - Why does the customer need ETOS®? - The digitalization of the substation ◦ small break ETOS® – applications ◦ small break ETOS® – hardware modules ◦ small break Our visualization ◦ small break ETOS® History ◦ small break MSENSE® - a preview A little true or false facts on ETOS®: "I need several CPU modules for all the different functions that ETOS® can provide in monitoring and control aspects!" We will solve this questions right at the end of the session. By the way - ETOS® is short for Embedded Transformer Operating System What is ETOS®? Why do our customers need ETOS®? With ETOS® we want to make the life for our customers easier and better. - Thats why we make use of as much information as possible right where it is generated - at the transformer! All this data should help the customer achieve the following - easier planning - easier scheduling of works - better understanding of what is going on inside the transformer - Less complexity (less cabinets, less interfaces, less independent data) - better structure for service - less cost (early action instead of late reaction) Therefore we provide one system to collect, digitalize, combine and utilize this data. With our motor drive unit we already have a cabinet right at the transformer. - Now we are just optimizing the use of it. ETOS® allows the customer to collect, combine, utilize and digitalize this data right at the transformer. This way you only need one simple network cable to transmit this data to a central control room. - Today, hundreds of meters of copper cables are transmitting this data one by one (each information in a separate cable) to the control room where the data is processed. With ETOS® we can help the customer to make all this data easily available in digital form through our visualization or through any common SCADA protocol That’s why our customers want ETOS®! The Digital Substation https://sway.cloud.microsoft/7ATe8wzRGjlRFiNC#content=EP2DH2DTA35fuT From bottom to top The process level: (where data comes from) All sensors and also protective equipment are located in this level We can integrate all typical sensors in a substation into ETOS® (conventional or intelligent sensors) We can also integrate all types of protective devices on the transformer. The field level: (where data is processed and much more) Cabinets as the conventional motor drive, intelligent drives and other cabinets are located in this level We can combine all common functions into ETOS® The control level (where information goes to) This level reflects all the remote systems to display, monitor or control a substation We can integrate ETOS® in most common systems (e.g., IEC61850, MQTT,...) We can even offer our own fleet management solution TESSA® to keep track of an individual system of transformers or substations And now a first short quiz to get you started. You will be taking more of these quiz throughout the session to prove you have understood the content. Embed:// Now, that was easy. You understand the basic requirement of our customers and the callenges they are facing. Furthermore you know now how we can support them with the help of ETOS®. You should take some minutes to have a cup of coffee or take a bio break... Let´s go on with... ETOS® – Applications The overview ETOS® is easy. ETOS® is intuitive. ETOS® is versatile. ETOS® is customized. ETOS® is open. ETOS® is our solution for our customers. The packages in detail in these next video chapters i want to explain the main function packages of ETOS® to you. https://sway.cloud.microsoft/7ATe8wzRGjlRFiNC#content=9D4RKNznFmW6ib 2 - ETOS Basics - Function packages - pt1 https://sway.cloud.microsoft/7ATe8wzRGjlRFiNC#content=03YtYya8aYss82 3 - ETOS Basics - Function packages - pt2 If you like to know more about our MSENSE® products, please use the links at the end of this sway to learn more. Now, you´ve learned a lot about the different function packages of ETOS®, the main content of the packages and which MSENSE® sensors we can provide there. Please take some minutes to fill out the quiz. Then you can proceed with the next chapter. Embed:// Let´s go on with our next chapter. but first... 4 - Time for a short... ETOS® Hardware modules First a short video for you that covers all the modules of our first generation as an introduction.
