Balance - sense of equilibrium, Formal (both side have equal identical elements e.g. both sides have same trees with same size), Informal (not equal elements, other side are far greater in weight than the other side e.g. one side has trees and the other side no trees), radical ( equally distributed, weight are place in the central point e.g. chair placed at the very center of the canvass). 4\. Emphasis - center of interest, caught attention (e.g. you use yellow squares and add one violet square, emphasizing the yellow square) 5\. Proportion - size of object compare to the whole or part of the other object. 6\. Variety - use of varied shapes, colors, elements. 7\. Unity - can see all elements as a whole. like all elements are relevance. Asian art 1\. Batik - dotted clothing, dyeing cloth in Indonesia 2\. Calligraphy - beautiful hand writing in china 3\. Wat - religious with multiple buildings, angkor wat (biggest religious area in Cambodia), angkor pho (Thailand) 4\. Stupa - burial marker, and storage of relics (modern architecture in India) 5\.
