# Questions to Recap **1) Megacities in the USA:** A megacity in the USA is New York. Los Angeles is also a megacity. **2) Tropical Storms:** Tropical storms lose their energy when they reach land. The power gets tamed after contact with land. **3) Positive Impact of Migration:** One positive impact of migration in the USA is that more people are working. This means more people paying taxes, which leads to more funding for schools, healthcare, and improving the economy. This ultimately means more people will have better education and healthcare when they need it, leading to a better quality of life. **4) Hurricane Irma:** Hurricane Irma tracked between September 6, 2017, and September 12, 2017. On September 6th, the hurricane was in the water and by September 12th it had already reached land and went past Florida and was near Georgia. The hurricane moved north-west. **5) Impact of Transnational Corporations (TNCs) on Less Developed Countries (LICs):** TNCs can have both positive and negative impacts on LICs. * **Positive Impacts:** TNCs can provide jobs for people. KFC and Adidas provide jobs, allowing people to work and earn an income to support themselves and their families, potentially leading to a better quality of life. * **Negative Impacts:** TNCs can also have negative impacts. Frequent oil spills, such as those by Shell in Nigeria, can cause water pollution, and prevent people from fishing. This can lead to a decrease in income and job losses, impacting the overall quality of life for the people in LICs.
