PowerPoint is frequently used for business and school presentations. SLIDES A PowerPoint presentation is made up of a series of slides. The slides contain the information you want to communicate with your audience. SLIDES Title Slide – the first slide of the presentation. CTRL+M – shortcut for new slide. DESIGN TAB Templated or pre-formatted designs. Format the general design of the slides. TRANSITIONS TAB Transitions are motion effects that when in Slide Show view add movement to your slides as you advance from one slide to another. ANIMATIONS TAB Animation can help make a PowerPoint presentation more dynamic, and help make information more memorable. The most common types of animation effects include entrances and exits. SLIDE SHOW TAB From Beginning (F5) - Start the slide show from the first slide. From Current Slide (Shift+F5) - Start the slide show from the active slide.
