- - - -schrodinger was also intrigued by the thought of updating the atomic model to account for the wave behavior of electrons as they orbited the nucleus after careful analysis the scientist created the first truly three dimensional accurate model of the atom using his wave mechanics theory -an equation schrodinger model of the atom includes an electron cloud moving in and out around the nucleus and a wave pattern using this model scientists can predict where the electrons might be at any given time as different from the earlier bore model that show the electrons and a set and layered orbits that did not fluctuate due to wave particle do i -polity you can see now why schrodinger his theories regarded as groundbreaking it said that with this one calculation schrodinger flung open the door of quantum mechanics and it was never able to be shut again -three point three yes yes the cat -early in his career schrodinger was interested in sticking to classical physics and as he aged he leapt into quantum physics and theoretical physics he was an outlier among his colleagues for waiting so long to join the game and being sad for himself that he did despite the accolades and the nobel prize but he was also a certified odd bird he -a very untraditional marital arrangement marked publicly by emigrating to ireland with his wife his mistress and the children he fathered with both women he wrote a premise on genetics which inspired a whole generation of geneticists and led to the discovery of the human genome schrodinger also authored a treatise on the nature of colors in the visible lights -detriment color perception and humans he had a lifelong curiosity for the intersection of science and philosophy -his most famous thought experiment is that which is known as schrodinger cat the party will have food and drink light I turned off the lights light reflects off the lake -paper -sign the papers please -the printer needs more paper -religion -three religions worship here -religion is a powerful bond -talk he gave for conference talks all this talk makes me tired -some non count nouns and and s but are not usually treated as plurals -civics economics -ethics -mathematics -measles -see also section eight point six plurals -a point five definite an indefinite articles with nouns articles are used to introduce nouns in a noun phrase the indicate whether the noun a singular a plural whether it is a specific now nor any none of that type and whether we are talking about a new now or a now that has already -he been introduced in the conversation -there are two types of articles definite and indefinite -the only definite article is the which also happens to be one of the most common words in english it is used to indicate a specific noun either one discussed before one likely to be known to all participants are one that is important or exceptional the final boss in that video game is nearly unbeatable -that’s not the scarf that goes with those gloves -give him the book he wanted -when you get to the ninth grade elementary school seems far away -mumps -news physics tennis -there are two indefinite articles a and in -a cat is a furry mammal with a long tail -an alligator is a reptile with many teeth -when deciding between using a in in the only thing to consider is the sound of the word that follows the article if the next word begins with a consonant sound then use a if it begins with a vowel sound than using an announcement -an argument and you wanna a cat -a high society event -a tsk tsk -a yellow banana keep in mind that the next sound may actually be written as a consonant but sound like a vowel and vice versa it’s the sound that matters not the letter n f b I investigation -a european hotel -an heiress a unicycle an to see concert -note that the h and some words is not aspirated given sound so it may take a different article -an hour -a human -the eye of the employer is often worth more than the hands of a dozen employees in the nature of things and agent cannot be so faithful to his employer as to himself many who are employers will call to mind instances where the best employees have overlooked important points which could not have escape their own observation as a proprietor know -man has a right to expect to succeed in life unless he understands his business and nobody can understand his business thoroughly unless he learns it by personal application and experience a man may be a manufacturer he has got to learn the many details of his business personally he will learn something every day and he will find he will make mistakes nearly every day -and these very mistakes or helps to him in the way of experiences if he but heeds them he will be like the yankee tim peddler who having been cheated as to quality and the purchase of his merchandise said all right there’s a little information to be gained every day I will never be cheated in that way again the some man buys his experience and it is the best kind of not perch -is that to dera rate I hold that every man should like who v a the french naturalist thoroughly know his business so proficient was he in the study of natural history that you might bring to him the bone or even a section of a bone of an animal which he had never seen described and reasoning from analogy he would be able to draw a picture of the object from which -the bone had been taken on one occasion his students attempted to deceive him they rolled one of their number in a cow skin and put him under the professors table as a new specimen when the philosopher came into the room some of the students asked him what animal it was suddenly the animal said I am the devil and I am going to eat you it was -but natural that coup v a should desire to classify this creature and examining it intently he said -divided hoof graminivorous it cannot be done -he knew that an animal with a split hoof must live upon grass and grain or other kind of vegetation and would not be inclined to eat flesh dead or alive so he considered himself perfectly safe is an absolute necessity in order to ensure success -among the maxims of the elder rothschild was one all apparent paradox be cautious and bold the seems to be a contradiction in terms but it is not and there is great wisdom in the maxim it it -here’s the planning you need if you want your conversations and interactions to be more insightful and effective you need to have a basic understanding of the anatomy of a great conversation -a great conversation greatly resembles improv comedy and should ideally involve almost all of the same basic rules that I’ll cover in this book if you’ve ever seen an improv comedy show you’ll know that they call themselves players and treat it like a sport rather than a performance this is significant because it instantly frames what you see on stages -a collaborative process where everyone is helping everyone else -they are constantly working towards a common goal and understand the flexibility and sacrifices required to reach it -if none of that resembles how you’ve approach conversations or interactions up to this point in your life it’s time to reevaluate that approach -it takes a lot of training and some improv comedians have spent years toiling away to get their craft right that with playful banter and conversational intelligence doesn’t happen overnight -spontaneity and flow improv comics take each performance on it’s own terms and come in with zero expectations about where it should be leading this mindset by itself is transformative and creating a sense of openness and flexibility that gives life to great conversations -they don’t have an agenda and are completely comfortable with the fact that they will be establishing something new based on playing off each other their flow inevitably fits the mood of their audience and other comics if you come into a conversation with a certain expectation about how it will go are you want to push it into a certain direction you’re going to disrupt any type of flow -you establish flexibility and the ability to adapt to fit someone’s mood or paramount to integrate conversation -it’s the difference between reading a script like a robot and actually speaking like a thinking human being -being emotionally and tune what separates great improv from lousy improv is how into in the comics or with other people’s emotions that are being conveyed players will often outright state their emotions and how they feel and it’s up to the other players to react to that accordingly and ways that advance and interaction it’s simple but we don’t often do they -this or catch this and daily conversation -when you understand the emotional state of your audience and other players you are basically given a template for where to go and went to go there it’s all about seeing the given emotional boundaries for your conversation and catering towards what people are conveying and want to talk about once you’re clear about the message and tone that is desired you can act accordingly -all it takes is a little bit of observation and being willing to deviate from any blueprint you set for an interaction beforehand -once you’re clear about these boundaries and know what you can and can’t say it’s much easier for you to get people to feel comfortable with you -the crowd is naturally comfortable around great improv comics because they know they aren’t in for any negative surprises the comic makes the interplay of emotions and feedback smooth and doesn’t leave others hanging even awkward moments are made endearing and charming a lousy comic totally misread the crowd and takes them down roads that aren’t interesting are pleasant -they come off as standoffish oblivious or like they aren’t listening think about how this applies to daily conversation if someone conveys that they are angry or sad and we completely miss it and awkward and uncomfortable situation arises we think they’re being weird and standoffish while they think we are being oblivious and and sense -native -it’s really that simple but grossly overlooked in practice -establishing fun -most people like to talk to people that are fun when you break it down there are only a few benefits that people receive from conversations and fun and entertainment is a major one guess what one of the goals of improv players is they do it because they love it and have fun with it they get their willies by making crowds laugh they simply as -dalglish of fun atmosphere where people enjoy themselves and you can tell the enjoyment on the players’ faces when they are on stage -if you are able to establish a fun atmosphere in your conversations people will simply enjoy being around you more and subsequently will open up to you more the more likable someone is the closer they are to the keys to the kingdom -it’s just human nature -one of the keys to creating fun as to let go of the standard interview questions filter you less and think outside the box there is an entire chapter dedicated to this concept later -there’s no right or wrong -great comics know that there really is no such thing as a right answer -all they’re shooting for is to establish an atmosphere of flow if they establish that atmosphere of collaboration and working towards a common goal then -on the flipside lifetime sold contracts are hidden once we create them most people have no idea that they generated one in the first place they just know that they desperately want things to change they know that something isn’t working they see the same pattern over and over but no matter what they do they aren’t able to stop it even though -oh they feel powerless they are determined to take control the desire for relief results in a lifetime soul contract not because you initiated a change that because you didn’t understand the lesson behind the seed thought that was causing your pain -when you slow down and start investigating the situation you are taking the time to master the seed thought and release it this raises your vibration moving you closer to source any decisions you make from their higher vibrational place and positive state of mind will not result in a lifetime so contract the forward movement in your life instead -you have already formed sold contracts in this life one good example is my client david david company was on the rise he was a cutting edge risk taker and it was paying off he had eight thousand employees and he was making more money than he had ever dreamed of magazines featured articles about david’s ability to pro -dick the market his parents lauded him women approached him because they sensed his prowess and confidence his edginess but suddenly things shifted he made a strategic misstep and he was forced to let go of more than half his employees david was distraught and depressed he felt guilty for causing pain to say -so many people he thought if only I had slowed down or made more logical decision as if only I had been grateful for what I had and didn’t make all those deals none of this would have happened he started to believe that he couldn’t trust himself because he really didn’t know what he was doing this created a seed thought that said I’m not good enough he experie -it’s failure after failure in his work because he stopped trusting his instincts -practical elemental magic -a practical guide to working with the four elements air fire water and earth in the western esoteric tradition -by david rank and and sorry to death circle of the four elements the l -the difference between this post and city charlotte is that in spastic a shaun of the heels are not in line with each other this makes it slightly easier as it requires less hip flexibility than said is shawna and cities shauna and swastika shauna both knees come close to the floor the supports the lower back by creating a natural inward till to the sacred -I’m giving a slight arch to the lower back -sauce to crush on it activates and rejuvenate the entire nervous system -or her pod marsala this posture is recommended for those unable to sit comfortably in the full load is pose pod marsano sit on the edge of a from cushion or two folded blankets with the legs stretched forward been the right leg and place the foot very close to the body on the floor then bend the left leg and bring the foot very close to -the body on top of the right thigh keep the head neck and spine and straight alignment and both knees resting on the floor -or her pod mass on our can also be practiced by bending the left leg first and bringing the right foot on top of the left thigh to prevent imbalances in the hips and pelvis it is good to change the crossing of the legs regularly so that both hips remain equally open this principle also applies to the other cross legged postures pod marsano -a pod marsano is the classic yoga sitting pose for meditation that has a balancing influence on all the chakras in pictures we see the great yogi masters like my have a ta ababa g lahiri my has sire swami three you foreign power alonso you’re gone under in the super consciousness state of some odd he was sitting in the full load pose -but for most westerners it is one of the most challenging poses to perform and so it is not practical as a meditation pose a place a stress on the knees and hip joints it demands a very strong external rotation of the thigh bones and the hip socket and if the hip joints are tight this post can place enormous stress on the knees the knee as a hint
