Are they novel research ideas? What is the feasibility of success? What is the competitive situation? What are the current capabilities - portfolio? What is the commercial attractiveness? – orphan drugs……… Orphan drugs Drugs use in the treatment of rare (low prevalence < 5/10,000) diseases – includes cystic fibrosis; multiple myeloma Commercial attractiveness..
